    The Infallibles: Imam al Musa al Kazim (A.S) (This is) an account of the Imam who undertook (the office) (al-qa'im) after Abu Abd Allah Ja'far ibn Muhammad, peace be on them, (describing) who gave birth to him and the date of his birth. (It includes) the evidence for his Imamate, the age he reached and the period of his succession (khilafa), his death, its cause, and the place of his grave. “There is no book under the canopy of the sky more authentic than the book of Muslim ibn Al-Hajjaj in the knowledge of Hadith.” Ahmed ibn Salamah said: “I saw Abu Zurah and Abu Hatim advancing Muslim ibn Al-Hajjaj in knowing the authentic Hadiths upon the sheikhs (teachers) of their age.” Ibn Khalkan said.

      Ibn Hajar al-Haytami mentioned in the thirty-fifth chapter of his book on Imam Abu Hanifa entitled al-Khayrat al-Hisan: "When Imam al-Shafi`i was in Baghdad, he would visit the grave of Imam Abu Hanifa, greet him, and then ask Allah for the fulfillment of his need through his means.". Shafii, Muhammad ibn Idris ibn al-Abbas ibn Uthman ibn (d. / 20) Jurist, theologian, and founder of the Shafii school of Islamic law. Born in Gaza. Died in Egypt. Educated in Quran, hadith, and fiqh in Mecca, Medina, and Iraq. Systematized the theoretical bases of Islamic law and outlined the doctrines and differences of Islamic law.

He is known as the revivalist of the second century, for he was the one who put the fundamental of jurisprudence; science of (usul al Fiqh). Imam Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi’i was perhaps the greatest legal theorist of human history. A pupil of Imam Malik, he strove constantly to root Muslim practice in the blessed ways of the Chosen One, upon him be peace. Thus he was honoured with the title ‘Nasir al-Sunna’, the Supporter of the Sunna.

Imam, Muhammad Ibn Idris ash-Shafi^iyy, was born in Gazza around lineage meets with the Prophet’s one at ^Abdu Manaf, the Prophet’s great father died when he was very young, leaving him and his mother in utter poverty.

His mother decided to take him to Makkah in order to preserve his noble lineage. Imam ash-Shafi^yy memorised the Qur’an at a very young age. The majority of Hafiz Ibn Rajab’s books are full of mention of the Sufi shaykhs, and their words and condition.

We shall suffice here with several quotations from his excellent book Al-Dhayl ‘ala Tabaqat al-Hanabilah. All of those who he mentions and who we shall mention are Hanbali predecessors, or from those to whom the shaykhs of the Salafi movement attribute themselves.

Abu Abdulla Muhammad ibn Idris ibn Al-Abbas bin Usman bin Shafi'. His ancestry joins the Prophet at Abd Manaaf. His title is 'Naasirun Sunnah'. His father died when he was very young and he was brought up by his mother in a very poor home.
